Eat A Salad
 
I’d rather eat a pizza, but for the past week I’ve eaten a salad for lunch.
 
My waistline is thanking me.
 
My taste buds, honestly, are not. They still protest; “Send down the good stuff!”
 
Don’t they realize salad IS the good stuff?
 
What are your favorite salad toppings?
 
I like kidney beans and croutons.
 
I’m looking for some inspiration in the salad aka healthy eating dept.

  1. I love salads. Just don’t eat enough of it. I love cooking up a salmon and adding it to the salad. And apples or pears with raisins too. Yum!!

  2. Mmmm, salmon! You are right about it being great on salad. The Neiman Marcus Salmon Salad is wonderful!

  3. I’ve been eating more salads also and I even found I can ditch the dressing entirely. My secret is salsa. And sometimes a little fat free sour cream too. I personally love black bean and corn salsa 🙂

  5. Salads are great! I add different things, depending on my mood for the day. I love feta cheese, shredded coconut, beets, all kinds of beans, and the usual stuff. You can also juice your salad mix. Not too bad. 🙂

  6. Oooh, Luisa, beets are one of my favorite salad toppings too! Mmm, beans, yep, now we’re talking. I’m actually looking forward to salad today. 🙂
