My Wish List

Posted on December 2nd, 2009 by Jean

Santa, I’ve been a really good girl this year. Actually, I’ve been good for quite a few years, yet I haven’t seen hide nor hair of you. How about making up for lost time with a few items from my Wish List?

Two words. Alexander McQueen. Hello! Check out this clutch with built-in rings. Oh, Santa baby, I’d be the happiest kid on the block if you’d stuff this lil’ gem in my stocking.

I know this seems like an odd request, but please place Animatronic Elvis under my tree. Something about his battery-operated head makes me quiver. Does he have a “hum” setting? Oh, don’t forget the 8 D batteries!

Santa, I can hear you now. “What a greedy bi…”, but wait! You can satisfy my sweet tooth for around twenty dollars with Vosges’ Caramel Toffee Marshmallows. Pick up a 4-pack for yourself. They will melt in your jolly mouth, my good man.

If you still think ill of me, well so be it. Get your point across with Dirty Dishtowels (preferably not one I have to explain to the kids).

I think I’m letting you off easy, but a few of my naughty and nice friends have some special requests.

Vegas Photoblog ~ Day 2

Day 2 ~ Part 1

I was going to make this one long blog, but I think it’d be better to break it down. Our second day was long, with lots of shopping & sightseeing. So, here is the first half of our day.

The second day of our Vegas vacation, we crossed the street to have breakfast at the Bellagio. It was all decorated for the Chinese New Year. The God of Wealth and Fortune greeted us at the entrance to the atrium.

Check out the topiary rat and the peaceful koy.

For breakfast, I had the crab cake benedict served high on a stack of hash browns.

I was too busy stuffing my face to take a picture of Sunny’s lobster omelet.

After eating, we walked next door to Caesars. Venturing over to the Forum Shops, the Sea Horse Bar and the Pussy Cat Dolls gambling area caught our eye.

Ok, I KNOW we just ate, but when we saw the gelato display, we HAD to have some!

I wish I could say it tasted as good as it looked, but mine was a bit.. uh… frosty. Not creamy. There’s another gelato storefront at Caesars that doesn’t focus so much on the display, but the taste & texture is exceptional.

On to FAO Schwarz to play on the piano from BIG.

We tried to mimic the facial expression of this style-head doll.

We found this cute little chocolate store, Vosges.

Talk about unusual chocolates!!

If you have a hankering for, say, a bacon bar, check out their website HERE.

To be continued.

Thanks for reading!
