1. Swizzle Sticks
When I’m stirring my mixed drink with the handle of a butter knife, I wish I had some cool swizzle sticks.

2. Abalone
I’d like to try it.

3. Boils
If I eat too much chocolate, I get boils. The last two times have been on the tip of my nose.

4. Rural
I can’t pronounce it.

5. Plates
I get compliments on my dinner plates. It’s nice!

Sure, compliment the plate, not the food.
6. Brand Loyalty
I have no favorite toothpaste or coffee. I’ll just grab any that catch my eye.

7. Warts & Athletes Foot
I got both from dear old Grandma. Warts from trying on her watch. Athletes Foot from trying on her shoes. God rest her dirty little soul.

8. Pirate Fettish
I have a thing for pirates. Not Johnny Depp pirates, but Captain Feathersword and Patchy from my kids’ favorite shows.

9. March/May
I have to concentrate about these two months, or I confuse them. Doesn’t matter if they are spelled out or in numeral form (3/5), I’m still puzzled.

10. Rainier Cherries
They’re my favorite!

I’m not tagging anyone, but please feel free to tag yourself. Let me know if you do!
Let’s set the mood. Draw a bath. Add orchid petals. Light a few candles.

Ok, now times that by TEN and you’ll have the entrance to Tao at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

Apparently, on Friday nights you are greeted by bathers.

My sister and I went to Tao on Monday night, and fell in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with their tempura avocado!!

And their little sea scallop appetizer.

It’s very dark and dramatic inside.

Turning on my flash gave the shot a whole new vibe! Eeeeek!

I prefer the intimate, dark look.
This is where my latest avatar pic was taken.

There’s a 20-ft golden Buddha at the dining area. Although I did view him, I didn’t take his picture. I was able to find this nice one of him online.

I think they used flash too.
Getting into the Buddha theme, Sunny and I both purchased Buddha banks (the next morning at a Paris giftshop).

We both chose Faith. It was hard deciding because Peace (the pink one) was really cute too!

Day 2 ~ Part 1
I was going to make this one long blog, but I think it’d be better to break it down. Our second day was long, with lots of shopping & sightseeing. So, here is the first half of our day.
The second day of our Vegas vacation, we crossed the street to have breakfast at the Bellagio. It was all decorated for the Chinese New Year. The God of Wealth and Fortune greeted us at the entrance to the atrium.

Check out the topiary rat and the peaceful koy.
For breakfast, I had the crab cake benedict served high on a stack of hash browns.

I was too busy stuffing my face to take a picture of Sunny’s lobster omelet.

After eating, we walked next door to Caesars. Venturing over to the Forum Shops, the Sea Horse Bar and the Pussy Cat Dolls gambling area caught our eye.

Ok, I KNOW we just ate, but when we saw the gelato display, we HAD to have some!

I wish I could say it tasted as good as it looked, but mine was a bit.. uh… frosty. Not creamy. There’s another gelato storefront at Caesars that doesn’t focus so much on the display, but the taste & texture is exceptional.
On to FAO Schwarz to play on the piano from BIG.

We tried to mimic the facial expression of this style-head doll.

We found this cute little chocolate store, Vosges.
Talk about unusual chocolates!!

If you have a hankering for, say, a bacon bar, check out their website HERE.
To be continued.
